This original program from April 18, 1958, is 6 1/4" x 9". It is a paper example from the "Exempt Volunteer FIREMEN of Onondaga County, Inc." (All pages are included in the photographs).
Louis Armstrong and his, "All Stars" appeared in New York, in Onondaga County, on April 18, 1958. This little program is signed by Louis Armstrong, in bright green ink. He is known for signing his name in green ink. The program is signed, also, by "Danny Barcellona", "Edmond Hall", and "Velma Middleton" (Louis' entertainment partner).
This signature of Louis Armstrong is quite large and genuine.
I was a personal friend of Jack Teagarden's wife and manager, Addie Teagarden. Jack Teagarden played with Louis, and Jack and Louis were personal friends for over 50 years. I purchased this program from Addie in the late 1980s. This program and many other items were in Jack's personal collection of music items from Louis Armstrong, Paul Whiteman, Stan Getz, Johnny Carson, The Playboy club, and the Dorsey Brothers, and a Miriam of jazz innovators.
My collection spans 60 years of jazz and swing artist memorabilia.
If you have any questions, please ask. I am very communicative.
At my age (80), I am beginning to sell a lifelong, eclectic, collection of unique artwork. I enjoyed this great collection. Now, it's time to share it with others.
If you'll notice, I will be selling my entire collection, which I have accumulated for over 50 years. My feedbacks reflect my honesty and fairness. I have been selling on Ebay for over fifteen years, but, now it is time to share this great collection of paintings, music memorabilia, jazz and rock records, statues, political history, antique books, vaudeville, Louis Armstrong, and genuine, original, signed photos and, etc., etc.
Thank you for looking - and please keep me on your favorite sellers list. If YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, I AM VERY COMMUNICATIVE.
Best Regards,
JIMMY N
