This listing is for a very cool and nice playing vintage 1950's Harmony by Alden Archtop Electric-Acoustic Guitar with a killer all gold finish. This guitar was made in the 1950's by Hamony and sold with the Alden brand logo on the headstock. This guitar looks great and plays very well. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable and the guitar plays up and down the neck smoothly and easily. The guitar has a good sounding pickup with a hard-wired external guitar cable. The cable is had been replaced but otherwise the guitar is all original with no changed parts. The guitar has a visible separation at the neck heel, see pictures. This is a fairly common issue on Harmony Archtop guitars like this. I am guessing the guitar has been like this for years and I don't think the neck is at risk of coming off but the buyer should definitely be aware of the issue. I have seen guitars like this before and as long as they are taken care of a little visible separation at the neck heel isn't an issue. I am reluctant to put a lot of pressure on the neck but under light pressure I am seeing no movement. I'm sure if applied enough force you could loosen the neck but that is true on lots of old guitars so my recommendation is to make music on the guitar and be gentle with it.  Other than the heel separation the guitar is in very good shape for such an old guitar with only light play wear. The guitar comes with a non original chipboard case and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. Please look at the pictures and message with questions. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
    Thanks for looking,,,
