    Description

Hard to Find U.S.A. made Vintage Original 1966 GIBSON ES-125TDC Guitar w/ RARE FACTORY Maestro Tremolo & METAL Bridge. Serial # 844366
    ITEM DESCRIPTION:
I believe to the best of my ability that this is a 1966 GIBSON ES-125TDC Guitar w/ RARE FACTORY Maestro Tremolo & METAL Bridge!!  They made these between 1966 and 1969 so I'm not 100% on the date.
Manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Incredible condition! As close to mint as you will ever find. Comes with the ORIGINAL vintage Lifton case WITH KEY, tag, & two vintage original leather neck straps.
This guitar has been professionally set up with very nice low action. It plays with ease and sounds wonderful.
    Definitely Gibson quality!
I believe the color is called Sunburst but not 100% on that.
There are absolutely no issues with the electronics and they're all original to this guitar from the factory.
Evidently, back in the 1960's you could special order the Maestro Tremolo & metal Bridge straight from Gibson manufacturing. I personally am a Gibson guy and have never seen a metal bridge and I've been playing for close to 40 years now.
    The inside is stamped ES-125TDC.
There are two very small dings that are shown in picture #10. One is right at the bridge and the other is on the neck. There are also two very small hairline cracks on the plastic guard of the metal bridge pickup cover shown in picture #9.
(I'm being picky here but I'm just trying to be thorough). There are no other blemishes that I can see on this guitar other than some light surface rust on the screw of the pickguard. The same for the latches and metal pieces on the case as comes with age.
There are a few scuff marks on the case too but nothing deep and can more than likely be cleaned with minimal effort.
It was manufactured with only one knob for a strap on the end of the body. There are not two.
Any questions please email me. I'll help you as much as I can.

He said this particular guitar was one that he personally special ordered from Gibson.
