Fender Stratocaster 1968 Sunburst Old Nitro Refinish Serial: 2323XX
Original to the guitar:
Body, Neck, All Hardware, Pots 137 6609, Cup, 3 way switch and case.
Non original to the guitar:
1970 fender stratocaster pickups set, all original winding and leads, 4 digit Date stamp: 1420.
Neck: 5.61k. Middle: 5.72k. Bridge: 5.75k.
Old RI pearl-back period correct pickguard, New Frets.
The guitar was originaly sunburst, somewhere in the 80's the original owner give the guitar to his son that paint the guitar in gold. few years later the owner send the guitar for refinish back to the original sunburst color, the work was done very professionally with very thin nitro and some relic job has done as well.
