    Description

    This auction is for a very rare original antique Civil War Confederate Cannon Commemorative brass plaque that marked a visitors site called "THE LITTLE CANNON" near Atlanta, Georgia. Please zoom in on all pictures for plaque marking and condition details. This old plaque is the original marker of the original Six Pounder Bronze Howitzer used against Sherman's historical march to the sea. This plaque was salvaged after a newer modern, larger, and more informative brass plaque was decided to be used several decades ago. Probably well over 100 years old this original thick brass plaque is still in excellent condition today. It measures 10 1/8" by 7 7/8", 5/16" thick, and it weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz.
