    Description

    Civil War era non dug spurs with leather straps.  Set of brass Cavalry spurs found years ago in a barn here at Spotsylvania VA.  Genuine Civil War period style spurs still retain their rare 3/4" wide leather straps with iron buckles intact.  The iron rowles are sharp and move freely.  The leather straps on this set will need some conditioning or treatment to rid them of a mold like substance but otherwise they are soft and once cared for these spurs could be worn again!  The brass spurs themselves are in excellent condition with a beautiful patina.  It is rare to find a SET of Civil War period spurs with leather straps intact.  These spurs were found in a found in Spotsylvania VA, where one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War took place over 150 years ago!
