    Here's a beautiful gold gilt sash buckle dug in the camp of the famous New Orleans Washington Artillery near Thornburg, in Spotsylvania County, Va. This pin on style is pretty awesome looking, and still loaded with gold gilt. About half of the pin still remains on the back. This unit was the pride of Lee's artillery, and this sash will make a real nice addition to your sash buckle or relic collection. Plmk if I can provide any further info or photos.
