It is hand crafted from furniture grade maple finished with 13 hand rubbed coats of Bombay Mahogany stain, sanded between each coat, and finished with 4 coats of marine spar varnish. How do I know? I built it and finished it myself over the course of 6 months.
Listing includes matching back bar, four bar stools, bar fridge, and 16 bottle wine cellar. The bullet proof finish cleans up easily with 409 and a rag; no furniture polish or oil required. The back bar is commercially manufactured and was a find inspired by divine providence. The finish is an exact match! This is a beautiful one of a kind piece you have to see to believe.
I have had a lot of joy entertaining with this bar over the years, but alas it is time to move on to a different season of life. The history of this piece is that it has followed my wife and I around the country for 19 of my 29 year military career.
