Beautiful photograph vintage signed and inscribed by renowned big band leader, jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, and composer Jimmy Dorsey (1904-1957), “To Lorraine Sincerely Jimmy Dorsey,” in blue fountain pen. Among Dorsey’s many standards was “Pennies From Heaven,” with Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and Frances Langford. Dorsey played clarinet in the original 1930 recording of “Georgia on My Mind,” which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
