    Corps harness rosette is in excellent, non-dug condition. The face is German silver veneer over brass. The back is lead-filled with a brass attachment bar. It measures 1-3/4” across. First one I’ve owned or even seen.
    They say this was also an insignia of Confederate Louisiana troops during the Civil War
