    Description

    This is an original stamped brass horn hat insignia from the Civil War in excellent condition.
    This insignia has both of the two original loops intact on the back of the horn.
    This insignia, in unissued condition, is from the famous former Bannerman Sons military surplus company in New York City.  Francis Bannerman bought Civil War surplus items from the Government after the Civil War.
    A great piece of Civil War history!
