Sony Trinitron WEGA 13” Color CRT TV KV-13FM14 Retro Gaming Television. Condition is "Used". TV is in great cosmetic and working order but due to a minor issue with the RF connection we are listing this item “as is” and for parts or repair. Please read full description below.
This Sony Trinitron WEGA CRT TV from 2001 is in very good cosmetic condition with some normal usage and aging wear including minor scratches, scuffs and blemishes. A super neat looking navy blue in color CRT that is becoming increasingly tougher to find out in the wild. Remote control is tested and working. Headphone jack is tested and working. Sometimes when a channel is changed the volume dips low for about one second. Video games that use the AV ports are tested, work well and look awesome.
RF Connection issues: Even though most gamers are not likely to use this TV for RF, I must mention the issues for the sake of a complete description. Game systems that use the RF connection will often show up with static causing a “fuzzy” picture so the RF cable needs to be adjusted (basically wiggle the cable around a little) in order to find the correct position that removes the static from the picture. Once adjusted, the picture from RF looks about as good as RF can look and will often remain static free without interruption. The RF connection, however, is sensitive so sometimes vibration on the floor or TV stand will cause the RF cable to shift position, disrupting the clear picture, at which point the RF cable requires adjustment again.
Everything else on this CRT TV is top notch from the beautiful picture quality to the handy push-to-open/close front connections/adjustment controls compartment but due to the RF connection issues this TV is being sold “as is” for parts or repair.
