Description

You are bidding on a M1841 Mississippi musket or rifle stock and reproduction replacement forearm.
The stock is walnut and has been shortened to 25 1/8 inches from the original 44 inches.
The stock has the cleaning rod spoon in the barrel channel.
The replacement forearm is 19 5/8 inches and need to be finished and fitted to the stock.
The stock, most likely has been refinished as some point in time.
There is a crack on the right side at the lock cutout.
There is another crack on the top behind the tang cutout.
The wood is weathered around the butt plate area.
There are also scratches and dents.
