Vintage Hondo 1970's H76 Stratocaster Copy MIK by Samick~Player Grade Fully Restored
Here's a vintage axe made in Korea by the Samick Company from the 1970s(?), a Hondo H76 based on the iconic Fender Stratocaster. This axe features the classic Strat-look with a naturally worn cherry red finish and a bolt-on neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. There is some serious play wear on this model & all of it is legitimate from decades of hard play. No need to spend 00.'s for an artificially distressed instrument when you can buy a great, worn in guitar such as this.
The original stock bridge is still in great shape considering the age of the guitar. The guitar has the standard Strat-style 5-way pickup selector, and 2 of the 3 single coil pickups are stock (middle pup was replaced).  The single volume and  two tone control knobs were replaced also, but it does not take away from the vintage sound of this cool Korean manufactured axe.

All of our instruments sold are in complete, working condition. This instrument was professionally inspected, repaired if necessary & given a pro set-up by one of our favorite luthiers/guitarist/composer/teacher & fantastic all around human being as well as the co-founder of April Mae & The Junebugs, Dave "Catfish" Fecca of Dave Fecca Guitar Repair located in Moorestown, NJ...so this axe is ready to rip!
CONDITION:
Instrument is in Good+ player grade condition, in our opinion. There are many dings along the bottom, sides, and back of the guitar. All things considered, this is a player grade instrument that still sounds great and none of the cosmetic wear affects the overall sound of this instrument. Pick guard & back plate were replaced, middle pick up was replaced as were the control knobs, switch tip & whammy bar. All replacement parts used were age appropriate pieces so as to retain the integrity of this instrument. This guitar was given a professional restoration and set-up to get it into full, working order.
DIMENSIONS:
Body is 39 3/8" long x 12 3/8" wide x 1 5/8" deep; neck is 18 1/2" long x 1 5/8" wide at the 1st fret, 2" wide at the 12th fret, & 2 1/8" wide at the 17th fret.
